NXN Southeast Entries

It seems that most Florida teams who extend their season will continue to do so at their traditional post-season meet of choice:  Footlocker South's McAlpine Park in Charlotte, NC .  But gathering their hopes of qualifying for NXN Nationals, a few of Florida's very best teams will be headed about 2.5 hours northeast of that destination to Cary, NC for NXN Southeast.

Tallahassee is a Distance Running Hotbed

There is a uniqueness to Tallahassee that separates it from the rest of the Florida when it comes to distance running.

Couple an extraordinary network of running trails, an active and supportive community track club, a county-wide middle school cross country program more than 300-strong with a collection of the state’s most accomplished coaches and you have the blueprint for sustained success.

You could make a compelling argument - without the benefit of lobbyists - that the Capital City is the state seat for high school cross country running, per capita, at least since 1997.

Week 8 - State Series Region Rankings

There are only two weeks left in the season, and our potential State Qualifying teams have been decided in this past week's District Championship round! Now we look ahead to the Regional Championship meets where the top 6 finishing teams and top 15 individuals from each race will be able to book their ticket to Dade City to race at the Little Everglades Ranch.

So let's look at our FACA Pollsters 'expert' opinions as well as at potential Virtual State Meets for every classification!
